Soooo, let's talk a little about me
My name is Danijela, and my internation nickname is Dani, or even shoreter - DJ. I was born on August 12th 1988 in Zagreb. I gained my university degree in the field of public relations and political communication and started my career with a focus on projects and event organisation. Over the years, I've been involved with numerous projects: from the World and European Handball Championships, through the European University Games, Unisport Finals, corporate marketing, B2Run races, Ironman, Pannonian Challenge and Highlander, all the way to UEFA championships.
The experience of working on various projects formed me on a professional and private level. I am motivated by challenges, new experiences, adrenaline - situations in which you have to step out of the comfort of your own home. That's why you can see me every now and then jumping off the Šibenik Bridge or sleeping in a tent somewhere in the wilds of Europe.
I am a supporter of sustainable development, nature conservation, equality, fundamental human rights and freedoms. I am a devoted friend, aunt to three nephews, sports fanatic, caretaker of 20ish house plants and an occasional hiker...
Realising that working on various projects is my passion, after exhaustive "soul searching" (one of the official side effects of the coronavirus pandemic), I decided to leave my job at the agency and give my entrepreneurial spirit a chance. And so in April 2022, AC aka After Corona, my business was born - PO ŠPAGI.
Why "PO ŠPAGI" - idiom "LIKE A CLOCKWORK" (to go according to plan, as we arranged or wanted)? Well, through work on numerous projects, I noticed that my co-workers and colleagues often roll their eyes on meticulousness and nagging over agreed deadlines. However, even though it bothered them, they always relied on the information, documentation and to-do lists that were annoyingly conducted.
And that's how I turned my most useful business habit, and to some the most repulsive one, into my sales pitch - LIKE A CLOCKWORK. It's not about any special talent, I'm not sending rockets into space. I’m simply dedicated, hardworking, and determined to make every project I take on a success for the whole team.
Considering the acquired horizontal knowledge and skills, I can say that I know a little bit about everything, which I believe is a great starting point for any project. And with a wide base of collaborators, I'm sure that I can make them a reality JUST LIKE A CLOCKWORK!
